Weekend Warriors Week 9 - Tear It Up!

In this section we highlight the players you wouldn't normally start that are bound to Tear It Up!

QB Tear It Up! - Josh Freeman (TB) - Freeman has been good for at least 12 points in every matchup this year except for one (The Steelers!)  He may not put up elite numbers but this week against Atlanta he will certainly get the job done.  Atlanta is averaging 260 pass yards allowed per game this season, the 6th worst in the league (Keep in mind that they have not been facing the most prolific offenses either).  The Buccaneers watched LeGarrett Blount break out last week.  His emergence should help Freeman spread the field a little more - Deploy!  (46% owned in Yahoo! leagues, 38.5% in ESPN)
Warrior Line - 280 Yards, 2 Touchdowns

More after the Jump!

RB Tear It Up! - Christopher Ivory (NO) - Ivory had a huge week in week 6 against Tampa Bay then flopped in weeks 7 and 8.  New Orleans faces Carolina this week, a team that has been generous to the run this year (119 yards allowed per game).  With very few "pick-up" options at running back this week, Ivory has the most upside.  He struck once this year and New Orleans was good for 121 total rush yards against the Panthers in their last visit.  He is certainly playable if you are slim at the RB position this week. (29% owned in Yahoo! leagues, 22.7% in ESPN)
Warrior Line - 80 Yards, 1 Touchdown

WR Tear It Up! - Patrick Crayton (SD) - Crayton faces the worst pass defense in the league this week - Houston.  The Texans are allowing 299.4 passing yards a game!  Malcom Floyd, Legedu Naanee, and Buster Davis are all out this week.  The Chargers #1 is obviously Antonio Gates but Rivers is going to spread the wealth.  We absolutely L-O-V-E Crayton here, expect big numbers. (32% owned in Yahoo! leagues, 21.9% in ESPN)
Warrior Line - 100 Yards, 2 Touchdowns

TE Tear It Up! - Greg Olsen (Chi) - Olsen has been a huge let down the past few years in many leagues.  Owners thought that the installation of Jay Cutler would boost his production.  With a limited tight end pool this weekend, we're simply looking to exploit the matchup.  The Bills are giving up 109.9% more points to tight ends than the average defense (crazy stat huh?)  Check out this site for more.  (43% owned in Yahoo! leagues, 54.5% in ESPN)
Warrior Line -  90 Yards, 1 Touchdown

Points are based on standard ESPN and Yahoo! settings.
