Fantasy Football Stock Market Update! 10/13

Fantasy Football is like the stock market: Buy Low, Sell High - Grab players that are known to pay dividends - Diversify your portfolio! Here is our Week 6 Market Outlook.

Sell High:

Arian Foster (RB, Hou) - Foster is the #1 running back in many leagues but his big points have come against a weak Indianopolis defense and an even weaker Oakland defense. A portion of Foster's value comes from his situation - the number one back on a solid NFL team with a very dangerous passing game.  Gary Kubiak's running game is a headache (2009 week 15)! It's time to cash out & sell high... very high.

Matt Forte (RB, Chi) - Forte is either finding his 2008 form or proving that he is the King of Inconsistency. We like to think the latter. Our advice: exploit Forte's matchup this week against a weak Seattle defense and sell high after. Forte is currently averaging 4.2 YPC, up from a dismal 2.7 last week. Expect to see great numbers from Forte this week that will decline in coming weeks. Only 2 more hot matchups the rest of the way (Buf, Det). Forte's gettin' the boot!
Other notables: Braylon Edwards

Buy Low:

Marques Colston (WR, NO) - Colston is at an all-time low right now. The Saints offense is struggling and being hurt by turnovers. Drew Brees and the boys are bound to turn it around in their quest as repeat champions. Pierre Thomas comes back this week (most likely) and Reggie Bush returns in a few more. Look for the offense to turn it up and Colston to pay out.

Pierre Thomas (WR, NO) - Pierre Thomas is coming back and New Orleans is getting the love for the rest of the season. Favorable matchups along the way include TB, Cle, Sea, Stl, and TB. That second matchup against TB comes in week 17, the championship week in many leagues - When the Saints come marching in! Get on board - PT Cruiser is underrated and undervalued after missing 2 weeks. If he plays this Sunday, watch for him to Tear It Up!

Other notables: Randy Moss
